Benchmark and Marsh teamed up again to design and construct their new conference room. Similar to phase I, the design was a collaborative effort which afforded Marsh creative flexibility while Benchmark priced options for approval.
The finish product includes a raised wood panel wain-scot, custom fabricated crown moulding and rail cap, carpet tile; a 65" Sharp television equipped for web-meeting and online presentations, wall covering throughout, upgraded acoustical ceiling tiles, up-graded electrical fixtures, new bathroom fixtures in-cluding an eco-friendly lavatory, and core-drilled data cabling which hard wires directly into the leg of the conference room table.
The double entry doors are 7'-0" wide when open and were recycled from an old project. The progressive client embraced the idea of recycled doors if they could be restored to a like-new condition. The inte-rior side of the doors were sanded and refinished to match while a DI-Noc covering system was used on the exterior. This system allows the room signage to be inlaid within the same plane creating a remarkably clean finish product.
