eCycle a ReUse Collaborative

At Benchmark we are always looking for ways to think outside the dumpster box. On each job we take construction materials that would normally end up in the landfill and REUSE them. In 2010 Benchmark recycled 78% of Construction Debris. Many of our clients are enthusiastic about the opportunity to use salvaged materials in their homes and facilities. Our program eCycle is a flagship initiative to facilitate the repurposing of construction materials. Prior to the demolition of a project we coordinate with interested participants (architects, subcontractors, artists) on a job site walk thru. At this meeting we identify materials that could be salvaged and reused on the project at hand or future projects. We are amazed at the creative ideas that are generated by these meetings.

Here are some Recent Repurposed Materials:

  • 10th & M Exterior Soffit Lights to Picture Frames
  • Used container to Job Trailer
  • Used cedar fencing to interior finish panels
  • Used oak pallets to custom table tops
  • Repurposed a demolished fire place to an outdoor fire surround
  • Recycled oak doors to Custom Conference Room with DiNoc Finish
  • Reused Bosch dishwasher and range in personal residence
  • Demolished Fridge to Keg Beverage Fridge sided with all recycled materials
